Cic Guidance Post Ita Provincial Nominee Program

OVERVIEW

CIC Guidance on Canada PNPs

The Provincial Nomination Program is a crucial option for interested persons who want to move to Canada, settle in Canada and have their permanent residence in Canada. The idea is that there will be the nomination of individuals who like to settle in and migrate to Canada, especially the ones who want to settle in a particular province. This nomination is carried out by the Canadian provinces and territories.

The only exception here is Quebec, with a totally different system of selection. The rest of the Canadian provinces, as well as two territories, have their unique PNPs. It is expected that these concerned provinces and territories agree with the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) before they are allowed to go ahead with the selection of immigrants according to the set requirements set forth.

The CIC Guidance (Post ITA) and Canada PNPs have been used for some time now to properly welcome new immigrants into their region. Anyone who immigrates to Canada through this program earns the status of a permanent resident and has a chance of ultimately applying for Canadian citizenship.

Currently, these provinces and territories are those with Provincial Nomination Schemes:

1.      Alberta

2.      British Columbia

3.      Manitoba

4.      New Brunswick

5.      Newfoundland and Labrador

6.      Nova Scotia

7.      Ontario

8.      Prince Edward Island

9.      Saskatchewan

10.      Yukon

Eligibility Criteria

Certain eligibility requirements must be adhered to in order to be granted the CIC Guidance Post ITA visa, under the Canada Provincial Nominee Programs. Not all Canadian provinces provide the PNPs, but many provinces have a signed agreement with Canada's government, which gives the option for applicants to undertake nomination of interested Migrants who want to settle in their provinces.

Applicants must pass these three stages need to be eligible for the PNPs:

1.      Job offer - Need to have a valid job offer letter from a company in Canada is a prerequisite. The company must be within the province you wish to migrate to. As an alternative, you can get the nomination certificate for any of your relatives to reside in the province.

2. Approval of the Provincial Government - Any job offer you get must get the approval of the provincial government, and the assessment of the candidate would be against the province's migration requirement. Moreover, you will also have to confirm that you are genuinely interested in residing and working in the specified province.

3. Permanent Residency Application - After you have been nominated by the province, you can now apply for Canada's permanent residency with the Citizenship and Immigration Canada, CIC.
