This pathway is for individuals who would invest in a farming operation in rural Manitoba. The farm investor should understand the current state of the farming business in Manitoba and provide sustainable solutions.
Farming is a huge responsibility. The Manitoba Authorities would ensure that anyone who applies for the Farm Investor Pathway would meet the following requirements.
The Manitoba authorities would provide the information you supplied. Ensure you inputted the correct ones.
When you meet the requirements for application, you should create an Expression of Interest (EOI). With the information that you supplied them, they will award you points depending on how solid the information is.
If you qualify, they will send you an invitation to apply.
After application, you would go for an interview. If you meet all the requirements, you will get an approval letter.
Your work permit would be given to you after you sign a Business Performance Agreement (BPA).
You can start working on the business.
When the MPMP discovered you meet the conditions stated in the BPA, you would get a certificate of nomination.
After nomination, you can apply for either permanent residence or citizenship.
The fee for nomination is CAD$2500. It's a non-refundable fee.
It would take about 4 years to get a permanent residency, from the day of application.
