Planning for Work and Settle in Denmark
Denmark presents good job opportunities for both locals and foreigners alike. Foreigners are free to live and work in Denmark with a valid Danish work permit. Nationals are some countries are free to work and live in a Danish country without the work permit. These countries include the countries under the European Union (EU), European Economy Area (EEA), and Switzerland. However, nationals of countries that are not exempted from working without a work permit could still live their dream of working and living in the country. Nationals of these countries who would wish to work and live in Denmark must apply and possess a valid Denmark work permit visa. To obtain a work permit in Denmark applicants have to apply for it and meet certain criteria before he or she is offered the work permit.
1. Nationals of the Nordic countries are allowed to work and live in Denmark without using a special visa.
