Starting from Jan 1, 2012, Finland had started to accept applications for the European Union Blue Card from souvenirs from world countries who seek high employment opportunities.
In other words, Finland is open to receive applicants from non-EU countries who want a residence permit in order to be gainfully employed in Finland. One of the objectives of this Finland EU Blue Card Immigration guideline is to improve and nurture the economy of the EU through an educated workforce.
To be deemed qualified for the EU Blue Card for Finland; you must satisfy the following eligibility criteria.
Applicants must send their applications to the Finnish Embassy before moving to Finland. This rule, however, does not apply to people who have had the card of any other EU country for at least 18 months.
Once you complete and submit your application, it takes 90 days before the Finnish Immigration Service processes your application and then makes a decision of granting it or not.
Here are some reasons why you should choose Finland:
The Visa Application charged by the Finnish Immigration Service is laid down in the Ministry of the Interior Decree 872/2017 and 185/2018. Make a Note! Certain applications will not be charged, as laid down in the decree mentioned above. All the applications that are free of charge were listed at the bottom of the below table.
