119th Express Entry Draw: 3,350 ITAs Announced for Canadian PR

A latest Express Entry draw took place on June 12 invited 3,350 applicants to apply for Canadian PR. The cut-off CRS score in the present draw was 465, a 05-point drop from the prior draw’s minimum C.R.S score of 470.

Eligible applicants for every program have issued a score below the Comprehensive Ranking System, shortly known as CRS, which defines their rank in the pool. Scores depend on factors like age of the candidate, educational level, proficient work experience, and skill in English or French.

The best-ranked candidates are given an invitation to apply for Canada Permanent Residence (ITAs) by frequent draws from the candidate pool, which normally take place for every two weeks, and the Canadian Government intends to process appeals for Canada PR from Express Entry applicants in six months or less.

Till date, IRCC announced 38,450 ITAs to Express Entry applicants in 2019. It is 6,250 higher than it had announced at the same time in year 2018 that saw the latest ITA record of 89,800 produced.

The time within draws is a significant variable that determines the CRS cut-off score.

The cut-off CRS score in the 29 May draw attended 470 after 04 weeks passed within all-program draws, which enabled a more significant number of applicants with more scores to enroll in the pool.

The truth only 02 weeks passed within the prior invitation round on May 29 and the current draw means lesser candidates can enroll into the pool within draws, heading to a 05-point decline in the CRS cut-off score.

The tie break practiced by IRCC in the present draw was 6 June 2019, at 13:51:59 UTC. It means that all applicants with a CRS score over 465, as well as equal to 465 who enrolled their profile in the Express Entry pool prior to the date and time mentioned, obatained an ITA.
