Latest BC PNP Draw Issues 218 Invitations to Apply for Canada PR

In the recent draw conducted on 9 July 2019, the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (B.C. P.N.P) invited 218 international graduates and skilled workers to apply for a nomination from the province. The invitations were announced to applicants belonging to 5 immigration streams below British Columbia PNP.
The least score needed for highly skilled workers and global graduates chosen through direct provincial streams was 105 points. At the meantime, the minimum score needed for Express Entry global graduates, and Express Entry skilled workers was 110 points. The minimum required score for workers at entry-level and also for semi-skilled was 80 points.
However, British Columbia province did not define the number of invitations announced below each of these five categories– SI— International Graduate; SI— Skilled Worker; SI— Entry Level and Semi-Skilled; EEBC— International Graduate and EEBC— Skilled Worker.

British Columbia PNP draws are attended periodically, when applicants belonging to the above five categories are invited to appeal for a provincial nomination based on the minimum required scores. While the minimum required scores in several former British Columbia PNP draws were within 75 and 105, the recent draw had the minimum score level within 80 and 110 points.
The points are given based on several eligibility factors, including the educational level, age, work experience, job offer, etc. The Express Entry applicants who receive a nomination from the British Columbia province or from other provinces will get 600 additional CRS score points, which ensure them an invitation to apply for
Canada PR in the upcoming
Express Entry draw. However, the appeals of Skills Immigration applicants nominated by British Columbia province are processed Express Entry system outside.
