Manitoba immigration has accompanied the 3rd draw of 2019, announcing Letters of Advice to Apply to 444 applicants over 03 provincial streams. The Feb 15 draw noticed the province crossed 1,500 LAAs for 2019.

It majored on the Skilled Workers Overseas stream's Human Capital Pathway, with 268 applicants getting LAAs and the least score of 570 points.

These applicants had to satisfy the below requirements:

Either

  • Have a genuine job-seeker validation code and  Express Entry ID, with minimum 06 months of present experience in an occupation on In-demand Professions list of Manitoba
Or
  • Have a nearby relative in the province of Manitoba or prior education or work experience in the Manitoba province.
  • Have six months of present experience in a Manitoba In-demand profession.
  • Meet the least language demands.

The next largest group came by the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream, with 120 applicants receiving LAAs and the least score required was 574 points.

A sum of 34 applicants got LAAs below the International Education Stream, by which there is no least score.

Finally, 22 applicants were invited below the Strategic Recruitment Initiative part of the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, with the least score of 726 points.

A Strategic Recruitment Initiative is when applicants are invited to fulfill a specific labor market requirement.

The former Manitoba draw was conducted on Jan 31, with 456 applicants announced Invitations to Apply. 

The most significant number of invites were announced through the Skilled Workers Overseas streams Human Capital Pathway, with 299 LAAs and the weakest score of 572.

Meanwhile, 17 applicants got LAAs below the International Education Stream, for which there were no least points requirements.

Also below the Skilled Workers Overseas stream, 16 applicants were invited by a Strategic Recruitment Initiative, with the lowest score of 705 points.
