In the biggest ever French-speaking Skilled Worker (F.S.S.W.) draw conducted on 22 May, Ontario announced Notifications of Interest to 360 applicants of Express Entry. This huge invitations announced is higher than the consolidated sum of all the invitations announced by the draws of French-speaking Skilled Worker (F.S.S.W.) stream taken by the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (O.I.N.P.) so far in 2019. The recent draw takes the entire N.O.I.s announced in 2019 to 549.
The applicants who had presented their profiles of Express Entry between 22 May 2018 and 22 May 2019 were chosen in the recent draw. This F.S.S.W. stream does not need the applicants to have the least points. However, they require to have a minimum of Language Benchmark of Canada 7 in French language and 6 in the English language to qualify.
An active profile in Express Entry;
At least one year of full-time, or similar part-time work experience beneath N.O.C. profession level 0, A or B;
Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s or Ph.D. which is Canadian equivalent;
Minimum C.L.B. level 7 in T.E.F. exam for French & minimum C.L.B. 6 in IELTS exam for English;
Intention to live in the Ontario Province.
Nomination allocation for Ontario in the year 2019 is 6900. In those, 250 proposals are particularly set aside for temporary international workers in intermediate skilled professions (NOC C). Related to the year 2018, the nomination distribution for Ontario province has risen by 4.5%. Though Ontario province reached the limit of nomination in Nov 2018, an additional 250 nominations were allotted to the province, making the entire nomination allotment for Ontario in the year 2018 to 6,850. The province of Ontario conducted 44 draws in French Speaking Skilled Worker Stream in 2018. So far, Ontario has attended 06 draws in French Speaking Skilled Worker stream in the year 2019.
