• While completing the online application form or responding to questions during interviews, your last name should come first followed by your given name. If your maiden name differs from your husband's last name, update this in your passport before proceeding for the application of visa.
• Crosscheck your passport to determine there was no spelling error or arrangement/order error.
• Provide enough proofs that you are married to the principal H1B holder or applicant. Go along with your wedding albums; showing enough wedding pictures, you and your spouse's pictures, your family members pictures.
• On obtaining your visa, check out for errors in your name, spouse’s name, date of birth, validity period, type of visa issued, etc.
