The Canadian Government conducted its initial Express Entry draw of 2019 on Jan 10, announcing 3,900 invitations to appeal for Canadian PR to applicants with CRS scores of 449 or higher.

The Express Entry draw was the biggest yet for an initial draw of the year by the Express Entry system, which was launched in 2015 to maintain the candidate's pool for Canada's 03 Federal High Skilled categories of economic immigration.

Applicant profiles are allocated a score depends on the Comprehensive Ranking System which grants points for factors including educational qualifications, the age of the applicant, work experience,  and knowledge in English or French.

The highest-ranked applicants are then drawn from the Express Entry pool by regular invitation rounds and announced an invitation to Apply for Canada PR.

Below Canada’s latest multi-year plan on immigration levels, the Canadian government represents to welcome higher Federal High Skilled applicants as permanent residents in the year 2019 than it did in the last year. Canada has an admissions objective of 81,400 by these programs for 2019, corresponded to 74,900 last year.

The enormous majority of applicants admitted to Canada by the Canadian High Skilled category have their requests for the status of permanent resident processed by the system of Express Entry.

Analysis of 108th Canada Express Entry

Today’s least CRS score of 449 was 10 points greater than the prior invitation round on Dec 19, a result of the 03 weeks that passed between draws. More extended periods within draws mean more applicants can enter the pool of Express Entry or take steps to enhance their current scores.

I.R.C.C practiced its rule of tie-break  in the Jan 10 draw. The time stamp utilized was Jan 2, 2019, at 11:40 UTC. It means that all applicants with a score of CRS higher than 449, as well as those applicants with the CRS scores of 449 who enrolled their profile in the pool of Express Entry before the decided time and date, obtained an I.T.A in this round of invitation.

Invited applicants have 60 days from the receiving date their I.T.A to present a complete Canada PR application to the Canadian Government.
