  • The employment contract must not be less than a year.
  • The employment also must be a permanent, non-seasonal job.
  • You should hold a certification that is recognised.
  • You would be paid a salary of EUR 51,882 at the minimum annually.

How to Apply for Belgium EU Blue Card?

You should apply for the Blue Card at the Belgium consular authority in your country. If you are already in Belgium, you should apply at the local foreign nationals department.

Meanwhile, as you are applying for Belgium Immigration under the Blue Card, your employer should also apply for a temporary employment permit at the regional level.

Validity

The Blue Card is valid for 13 months, the first time you are issued.

After that it would be valid for three years. You can apply for long-term residence after a period of five years.

You should apply for at least a month before the expiry of the Blue Card.

Visa Processing Time

It would take three weeks for the temporary permanent permit to be issued. The Blue card would be issued within 90 days of arriving in Belgium.
