Express Entry Linked PNPs Have Achieved Well in the First Half of 2019
The opening half of the present year was a very active period for the Express Entry-associated PNPs of Canada. However, it appears as no wonder as Canada has set a bigger immigration target by Provincial Nominee Programs for the year 2019 related to 2018.
The Express Entry associated PNPs issued plenty of Invitations to Apply for a nomination in the opening 6 months of 2019. Those who are victorious in getting a nomination from the province will obtain an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System points score assuring them an invitation to apply for Canada PR in the following Canadian Express Entry draw. The additional score is particularly helpful for those applicants who have CRS scores lower than the CRS cut-off scores in general invitation rounds.
Ontario PNP
Ontario’s entire nomination allotment for the year 2019 is 6900. It is the biggest nomination allocation related to the PNP programs of other provinces and territories of Canada. So far, Ontario has announced a total number of 3846 Notifications of Interest to Express Entry applicants in 2019. Of these, 67% that is 2,565 were issued by the Stream Human Capital Priorities. A joined 1,281 NOIs were announced to Express Entry applicants by the Skilled Trades and French-Speaking Skilled Worker streams.
Nova Scotia PNP
The Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program has 3 streams associated to the Express Entry. The Stream Labour Market Priorities draw conducted on 3 June 2019 invited 312 Express Entry applicants with work experience as early childhood assistants and educators. Another draw below the same stream on 25 January invited accountants or financial auditors with a cut-off CRS score 400. Another draw in March 2019 invited Express Entry applicants who had given French as their primary language.
Other PNPs
In the initial half of 2019, Manitoba PNP issued a minimum of 300 invitations to Express Entry applicants.
Prince Edward Island conducted 6 draws within January and July 2019 and announced a combined 671 invitations to Labour Impact and Express Entry candidates.
The British Columbia PNP also declared invitations with its Express Entry B.C. Stream in weekly draws in the first 6 months of 2019.
