Ontario: 1,623 Candidates Received Invitations with a CRS of 439

In the initial Ontario's Tech Draw conducted on 12 July 2019, totally 1623 Express Entry applicants were invited to appeal for a nomination from the Ontario province. The CRS scores for the candidates who invited in the draw varied between 439 and 459. Only those who built Express Entry profiles within 12 July 2018, and 12 July 2019 were counted in the draw.

Ontario Tech Draw

The Ontario PNP produced the announcement of the opening of the Ontario Tech Draw at the starting of this July 2019. Ontario Tech Draw intends to satisfy the need for skilled workers in the upcoming tech sector of the Ontario province. Some of the significant-tech hubs in Canada are found in Ontario, namely Ottawa, Toronto, and Waterloo. Ontario Tech Draw is conducted through the OINP Human Capital Priorities Stream. Applicants are selected from the pool of Express Entry on the basis of several eligibility criteria.

An employment offer is not required to qualify for the Ontario's Tech Draw. However, the applicants require to have a minimum one year full-time paid work experience or similar part-time paid work experience in one of the six targeted professions which are listed below.

• Computer and information systems managers (NOC 0213)
• Database analysts and data administrators (NOC 2172)
• Web designers and developers (NOC 2175)
• Computer engineers (NOC 2147)
• Computer programmers and interactive media developers (NOC 2174)
• Software engineers and designers (NOC 2173)

The initial step for an applicant to be counted for the Ontario Tech Draw is to build an Express Entry profile. The aspirants who receive provincial nomination by Ontario Tech Draw will obtain an additional 600 CRS score points, ultimately ensure an ITA for Canada PR in the following Express Entry draw. In the latest Express Entry draws, the cut-off CRS score ranged within 438 and 470. A least CRS score demand of 439 in the recent draw gives more scope for those applicants in Express Entry pool with lower CRS scores.
