What Documents Do You Needed for Visa Program?

• A valid passport with at least a blank page that would contain the visa or permit.
• Receipt of application fee. You will not pay this if you’re a spouse or a dependent child of the South African citizen or permanent resident.
• An itinerary showing your purpose of visit and your duration of stay in South Africa.
• A yellow fever vaccination certificate. It depends on the area you intend to visit but to be safe, you should get the certificate.
• Police report. This should be from every country you lived for a year or longer since you turned 18.
• Proof of relationship with the relative. This can be marriage certificates or birth certificates.
• Medical and radiology reports. This is not required for children under 18 and pregnant women. It should be within the last six months.
• Financial certificate that shows a minimum of R 8, 500 per month for an applicant. This is not required for spouses and dependent children.
• Documentation showing that the relative is a South African citizen or a Permanent Resident.
